I think the problem in Emporia is caused by two factors: One, we have a multitude of train crossings, and two, some of the engineers don’t know what constitutes a long blast. Observations on life, love and faith from the Flint Hills of Kansas. Tuesday, March 09, 2010. I Hope You Dance. I was reminded of that this morning as we read our daily C.S.Lewis. It was not what he wrote, but how he wrote that struck me. There is a flow and a grace and a joy in his writing that lets you know he really loves the subject. And those of us reading his works, experience joy in the reading as well. Oh, and Happy 91st Birthday to my Mother. She's still baking and dancing! I Hope You Dance.

Every child should grow up in a safe environment like Mt. Tabor, but there are too many like Mekhi Boone or Matt who fall through the cracks, who are left broken and beaten at the hands of those who should be caring for them.
