There and back again: a Token joke for a Bike blog: June 2009
http://bujiatangbikes.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
There and back again: a Token joke for a Bike blog. Thursday, June 18, 2009. Apparently the VW 1.8T engine has a bit of a design flaw. As we have been having problems with rough idles and stalling. Having checked the engine over with diagnostic equipment and listening to the motor the coils on cylinders 1 and 3 were found to be the culprits. two coils replaced and everything is peachy. Saturday, June 13, 2009. I have managed to sell the Murray. Slightly below asking, but not so I was hurting. So we took...

There and back again: a Token joke for a Bike blog: April 2011
http://bujiatangbikes.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
There and back again: a Token joke for a Bike blog. Sunday, April 3, 2011. So we're thinking about some bike camping in the mountains of Montana, and I'm thinking about putting racks on the Instigator. "Wait what," you say. "that has no braze ons for racks" you say. Yes The Instigator has no handy braze ons for racks or fenders (yes there is an eyelet where nothing can reach, for all the good it is). So now I need to figure out a way to pack my half of the gear on a bike without any way to bolt in. Lemon...

http://bujiatangbikes.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
There and back again: a Token joke for a Bike blog. Sunday, November 4, 2012. Once more but with feeling! Early this summer I bought a 1x1 frame set off craigslist. Specifically I bought a Race Face crankset with a Surly 1x1 frame set attached to it. The plan being, upgrade the crankset on my 1x1, and sell the frame set for what I had into it back on cl. Oh the plans of mice and men. So with a heavy heart I said goodbye to the crankset and we started collecting parts. Geared at about 2.15x1 the bike ...

There and back again: a Token joke for a Bike blog: March 2009

There and back again: a Token joke for a Bike blog. Monday, March 30, 2009. In no particular order here are some of the pictures that did not appear in the previous post. This post is broken. When we were leaving I noticed a cool looking rack. We went back to the river but continued north to Gold Medal Park, stopping to snap a picture of the museum. I was taking it into the sun so it in general sucked. From Gold Medal we went the little bit further to the Stone Arch Bridge. . About the same. . My boss h...

There and back again: a Token joke for a Bike blog: Taxes past and present
http://bujiatangbikes.blogspot.com/2013/02/taxes-past-and-present.html
There and back again: a Token joke for a Bike blog. Saturday, February 16, 2013. Taxes past and present. Lookingup taxes and things like that can be fairly straight forward too. If you can type an address anyway. Http:/ www16.co.hennepin.mn.us/pins/pidsrch.jsp. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). These are the porly edited sometimes sober accounts of a demented cyclist who inconsistently commutes and can't make up his mind on how to spend time, money, or how to end a damned sentence. How to lock your bike.

Red Alaska: Family visits

The trails and trials of a modern pilot. Friday, January 28, 2011. I'm in Nebraska. That sentence implies a sigh of melancholy. We flew back to the Midwest. To show off our 6 month old to those friends and family who haven't met her yet. I got an extra day in ANC. The downside to skiing Saturday was the snain. Now I'm in NE reading about other's adventures back home. It's kind of an anti-vacation. Tomorrow we get up at 4 again to drive back up to MSP. In the dark as much. PTL days six and seven.

The trails and trials of a modern pilot. Tuesday, February 24, 2009. I know I'm not supposed to be on the couch, but neither is Harold. Maybe if I look down you won't see me:. OK, now I'll just start flicking out my tounge and scare you out of disciplining me:. Stop pretending you can fly Harold! I think it's working:. Last night I was driving in California at about 70MPH when a guy walked in front of the car which was in front of me and tossed a cartons worth of tobacco into the grill of the car! Has po...

The trails and trials of a modern pilot. Friday, January 30, 2009. The Bolivian Shepard makes a statement. Nothing to see here. I'm cool with this stylish Elizabethan cone thing you guys have me wearing. No, as a matter of fact I DON'T KNOW how this thing came apart! Maybe you should have made it sturdier you silly man! Tuesday, January 27, 2009. More about those bike balls. This is from that clever Bike-snob in Brooklyn:. And I was delighted to read that the XTR. Hub will actually "cradle the balls".
