A version of Shakespeare's romantic classic set in the world of gnomes! In the hands of Pixar, a version of Romeo and Juliet done with garden gnomes might very well be brillant. But the British production comapny responsible for Gnomeo and Juliet has failed to emulate the US studio's successes. The characters are not likeable and the jokes are obvious to all but the very young. The occasional line of Shakespearean dialogue is not enought to keep adults entertained.
