Monday, June 13, 2011. So i took my favorite cake recipe and altered it up a bit. This is the original cake recipe. 2 3/4 cups All Purpose Flour, the original calls for cake flour. (you can use either). 1 2/3 cups Sugar. 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder. 3/4 cup (12 tablespoons) unsalted butter, softened. 4 large eggs whites plus 1 whole large egg. 1 cup milk (whole milk is better for this but either is fine). 2 teaspoons Coconut Extract. 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract.
