Words From The Heart and Soul
http://wordsfromtheheartandsoul.blogspot.com/2013/05/its-been-12-years.html
Words From The Heart and Soul. Tuesday, May 14, 2013. When I journaled the other day the questions of why were answered. Why I began to write the story: writing is healing. Writing Vance Woods helped me heal from love gained and love lost. Writing and healing, healing and writing. They are the same. So after eight years, I was able to pose other questions for myself. Why have I started to edit the story and why do I want it published? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thank you for stopping by!

life, love, and pixie dust: March 2015
http://lifeloveandpixiedust.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 1, 2015. There is, after all, this business of living to which we must attend. I would posit, too, that a loss need not be the ending of a life in order to shake your world. Have you ever lost a friend? Three years ago, someone with whom I had struck up a connection left my life. He’s not dead. He’s simply gone. But, then again, how would I know? And that’s the thing, isn’t it? Why else are we here? Why else are we here? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). These People Are the GREATEST! I spoke to ...

My car broke down.” “Where would you need to meet? 8221; “How about Steak n Shake by the Super 8? 8221; I thought for a minute and asked if she was living in the hotel. She said she was, and I asked her to share. The writer in me, or was it the human being, had to learn how she had come to call this home. And now I feel the need to thank the powers that be. Sunday, September 7, 2014. Spunk and Sass and All the Cleavage I Damn Well Please. An essay from my book, Freeing My Inner Blonde, available on Kindle. I have a friend who just turned fifty. In nine short months, I will hit that mark myself. How do I feel about that? The host suggested wearing a pendant that dips suggestively into the area, offering a hint but never revealing. I want that product I used to sell. I have more energy now than I have had in forever. How do I feel about turning fifty? Johnny ...

life, love, and pixie dust: My Take on the Gay/God Issue
http://lifeloveandpixiedust.blogspot.com/2015/06/my-take-on-gaygod-issue.html
Monday, June 29, 2015. My Take on the Gay/God Issue. You know that box of mixed chocolates so popular on Valentine’s Day? I LOVE THAT BOX! I feel, as a culture, this is where we find ourselves wanting to be. We DEMAND that one representative type, that box of humans that are all the same. Historically, I believe, there is precedence for this. If I remember correctly, it did not end well. Instead of looking at variety as opportunity for growth, we raise our shields and ready for the joust. I think where p...

Saturday, December 20, 2014. Just Can't Shake This Cancer. Needless to say, I am reflecting. My friend is struggling with her purpose in life. Why is she here? What has she done with her time? Don’t we ALL struggle with this? I had a psychic reading once. Okay I’ve had many. And so I come to this. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sometimes I close my eyes and think someone, somewhere must have sprinkled fairy dust on my life, and I am so grateful. These People Are the GREATEST! Just Cant Shake This Cancer.
