The Ramblings of a Platypus. Aug 25th, 2011. Today's class discussed the difference between dumb, ignorant, and stupid. Dumb - you're born that way, nothing can be done. Ignorant - you don't know any different, but you can be taught. Stupid - you've been told, you just choose not to listen. It made me smile. My other smile today happened when I came out of class to find that an edible arrangement had been delivered to work for me. As a thank you for the training session that I had done the day before!

The Ramblings of a Platypus. Nov 26th, 2011. Funny how the girl with no sewing machine is slowly replacing that machine with $ made by. wait for it. sewing! Thank goodness krys lets me use her machine). 2 halloween costumes, 1 bridesmaid dress, and some retail items shondra= $125. (still waiting for $35 of that - bridesmaid dress not delivered yet). That makes the idea of $300 for a machine seem not so scary! And I keep looking at cute carry/storage boxes for it). Slowly but surely this weight is lifting.

I saw one of out theraputic MTs. she did a lot of good work, I just have to try not to agrivate it anymore. I want to start an exercise program of some type. I'm thinking about starting small, baby steps. I'm also thinking of starting a food diary. Most people do this so they can track what they eat and eat better.
