Lava lamp in a box. This last one we also found ...

I know I have been promising a "Siblings" post for forever. This was originally going to be apart of it but I thought I would separate it for a quicker reference. Here are 10 starter boxes. I am sure I will add to this as I think of/remember more. These are easy to pull out when in a crunch. I typically feed my newborn in a chair or on the floor n...

WILSON Family Blog: May 2015

http://kevinandrhiannon.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Buddies in a "pillow house". Taryn "painting" with shaving cream. Yep, this is how we often read scriptures. Taryn loves to comb/do my hair. What a cute, cute! We do Corbin's hair sometimes too. This poor kid with his second round of pink eye (he catches everything! Just like his big brother, with the shaking and spinning and everything that goes along with playing video games. Corbin wearing Reed's helmet. Easter and Conference Weekend. He approved of the donuts. And so did Taryn.

WILSON Family Blog: March 2015

http://kevinandrhiannon.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 2, 2015. At the beginning of January, Taryn turned 4. It really is a horrible time to have a birthday. Not only is it right after Christmas, but this mom is tired out and not really in the mood to throw any birthday parties. However, this little girl had been talking about her supposed birthday party for months, so we of course had to follow through. Party at home with family:. Yes, the candles got a bit close. Daddy had to hold her hair back because, yes, it had caught fire!

Thursday, August 22, 2013. Sunday, August 18, 2013. Happy 5th birthday, Reed! I can't believe Reed is 5! Boy do we love this kid! Here are 5 things we love about our not-so-little boy:. 1 He cares about others, especially his little sister and brother. He often "takes one for the team" to keep Taryn happy and is always trying to make Corbin laugh. He also absolutely loves his friends. 3 He still wants to be snuggled. The past 5 years have been such a blessing with this boy in our lives! And hit an "alien...

Brett and Heather: July 2013

http://brettandheather.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

Our little life with our sonshines. Sunday, July 14, 2013. Parker on the Nexus pad. Spring finally arrived around here after a VERY long winter. Tate especially loves playing in water and Parker enjoys it too. Parker loves his Berg bike from Uncle Matt. He really loves the steering wheel. Parker wanted to give Tate a ride. I was surprised that Tate had fun too. Parker is half smiling and half making car noises. Another idea from Parker, let's dress up Superbaby! But my birthday baby gave me a smile!

Lisa's Littlest Learners: May 2014

http://lisaslittlestlearners.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

BRAIN FACT: Learn Through Play. Saturday, May 17, 2014. I used my favorite sense (taste) and chose to do an ice cream store. I have play ice cream cones, popsicles, and Dilly bars, plus recycled ice cream cartons and cone boxes. The ice cream cartons are filled with styrofoam balls, plus there are bowls, spoons, and fruits for toppings. I set it up with the cash register and a table for customers, and they were set. They loved it and it was busy for all 2 weeks. I found fun dot paint markers on clearance...

One family's journey creating our own Peace of Earth. Sunday, April 14, 2013. My Homeschooling A-Ha Moment. I really struggle with curriculum. What should we be doing? What should Eli be learning? Am I leaving something out? STRESS, STRESS, STRESS! My a-ha moment came when I realized several things:. 1) I just LOVE the Montessori Materials. 2) I resonate with the Waldorf Rhythm of Learning. I do like having an outline to help keep us focused. Here's the general outline for next year. 13- 28 - PUMPKINS.

Hitting the last stretch. July 16, 2015. Hooray I have finally started the dreaded list and actually put some thought into what we need to get ready in time for this little one. It is still super scary and every time I think of something to add I quickly write it down and then hide the list again. It all seems too early still and a little daunting! I know babies don’t need all that much, but even just the essentials gets me worrying about space and practical issues! I was given a second hand one for the ...
