JOE SAPHIRE | projects in art and media : All the Time in the World
http://joesaphire.com/all-the-time-in-the-world
Everything, All of it, All the Time. All the Time in the World. All the Time in the World. Is a feature-length remixed version of George Pal’s 1960 film. Based on the 1895 dystopian novel by H.G. Wells. The left channel is a reverse edit of the film (last shot first, first shot last) and the right channel is the original cut. Audio is a mix of the two soundtracks, creating serendipitous syncs and convoluted dissonance as the linear narrative cycles back into itself. All the Time in the World.
