Thursday, July 22, 2010. The Roof, the roof, the roof is . leaking? The thunder claps wake up my boy and Sydney comes running telling me that water is coming out of the light fixture! I gather all the garbage cans I can and start placing them strategically to catch all the water. I tried to take pictures, but you couldn't see the water so I didn't post them. Friday, January 13, 2012. So, back in November Jason's mom came for a visit. Jason had to give a presentation in Springfield and we all decided to come along for the drive and see some of the sights while he was being important. We went to the State Capitol building and the cemetary where President Lincoln is buried. After Jason was done with his presentation we went to lunch at a quaint little restaurant and then went to the Abraham Lincoln Museum. It was all really neat! View my complete profile.

Okay, so I realize there will be a jump in the time line of events, but due to a high volume of requests, I am jumping ahead to October and the search of the perfect pumpkins and subsequent carving of said pumpkins. Monday, February 7, 2011. Jason and Sydney attended a Daddy Daughter Dance last week. They went with two other couples who are friends of ours, and had a blast! They went to dinner, Sydney of course ordered shrimp, went dancing, had pictures taken, did the limbo, the electric slide,and caught balloons as they dropped from the ceiling! Friday, January 13, 2012. Christmas came to Southern Illinois! Of course the kids were spoiled! How could they not be? They are so stinking cute and have a bunch of family and friends who love them! Monday, December 13, 2010. We saw Santa and Mrs. Claus. Sydney asked for a unicorn pillow pet and Peyton asked for a monster. Monday, December 6, 2010. Here are a few pictures from Halloween! Sydney was a witch, an evil witch if you asked her, and Peyton was a monkey. It was a lot of fun! He ate the core and everything!
