The Lamont Family: Date gone awry
http://threeagainstone.blogspot.com/2014/11/date-gone-awry.html
Monday, November 17, 2014. Saturday Drew and I went on a date during the day. Then the news that my baby fell out of a tree comes and is enough to make a mothers heart stop. But angels were watching over him as he is ok. No broken bones, no teeth knocked out, just some blood and a really bad bump with some scrapes and bruises 😔. The bad part is already bandaged up as it may be too graphic (just teasing, being a worried, paranoid, dramatic mom). My boy is fine. Thank goodness. The blog is dying. Royal Vi...

The Lamont Family: Veterans Day and Sy's sick

Be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly. -Thomas S Monson. Enjoying Our Journey: March 2010
http://melanieandjosh.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 31, 2010. A couple months ago Josh and I were surprised when we discovered this:. That's right, we're expecting baby #2! We were pleasantly surprised and so thrilled because we didn't have to do any fertility treatments! We are happy to have two kids close together! We had already planned on doing IVF again, and we are very happy that we won't have to pay for the expensive treatments now. We have been greatly blessed. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Enjoying Our Journey: December 2009
http://melanieandjosh.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 20, 2009. Owen's First Trip to the ER. We always thought Owen's first trip to the ER would be for something like stitches or a broken bone, but nope, he was just sick. That means that yes, we abused the system and used it like a clinic. (do we healthcare workers and future ER doctor dare admit that? We were lucky because it was early enough on a cold, slushy morning that there was no wait time! We signed in at 7:20am and left to go home at 9:00am. Super fast for an ER! Links to this post.

Enjoying Our Journey: Graduation!!!
http://melanieandjosh.blogspot.com/2010/06/graduation.html
Tuesday, June 22, 2010. The moment we had been waiting for and working towards over the past 5 years has finally come and gone. Josh graduated from medical school and he's now a medical doctor! Josh had two graduations, one in scorching heat and the other in pouring rain. But despite the imperfect weather conditions, graduation was exciting. I loved seeing all the students in their awesome caps and gowns! Pictures from the medical school hooding ceremony:. Processional into the tent. How cool is that?

Enjoying Our Journey: October 2009
http://melanieandjosh.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. This year we had a fun Halloween! Owen dressed as a little bear, and yesterday we went to a church party/trunk-or-treat. Owen had so much fun! It was a carnival-themed party complete with carnival games, prizes, a bounce house, and a magic show. He also loved the trunk-or-treat and the candy that came with it. He got his first taste of tootsie roll and lollipop. He was probably thinking, "man, I've been deprived for so long! He was in heaven. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Owen w...

Enjoying Our Journey: September 2009

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. The Phoenix Zoo was free every Wednesday this month, so we took advantage of it and went twice! Josh finished his rotations last week so he was even able to come with us this week. It was packed with people and quite hot, but they have a really fun water splash area for kids which kept us nice and cool. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Links to this post. Owen finally got his first haircut! Owen did really well and held real still for me. It helped that we put him in one ...
