Two Cats and a Horse. Life with Shag, Gizmo, and Panache. Saddle came in last week and it fits both of us nicely. Very slick though since it's new leather with the factory wax still on top. So I've been cleaning it after each ride and oiling the underside of the leather to help it soften up. Mom visited last week for Mother's Day and the LPGA. That's the quick news for now. Wednesday, June 16, 2004. The best part of the tournament was feeling myself actually a part of the TKD world, able to act as an individual, by myself, in the adult world. I went to the tournament on my own volition, and I was the only one of my family there. It felt odd, but good. In the evening, I took the sibs contra dancing. I gotta say, I was exhausted! Monday, August 30, 2004. As I begin my second week of junior year, I find myself with a few minutes to reflect. My brain, which had begun to slow down over the summer, has woken up, and is humming busily over a number of topics. I feel like it is time to settle some of them. Monday, June 02, 2008. I hope to grab my youngest sister, Lillie, on the way and treat her to an adventure with her oldest sister. That would be awesome. Also, I am applying to Regent University's School of Communications and the Arts for fall of 2009. We will see what God does. It will have to be His story, because I do not possess the finances.
