Sunday, February 26, 2006. It was announced last week that Itunes has now sold 1 billion songs. That is pretty amazing when you consider that ITunes have only been available since April 2003. That’s more that 11 songs per second for over two years and nine months. I am not sure why it took Apple to recognize that people are actually willing to pay for a song as long as you make it available. Are we moving into a culture that is no longer about buying media but rather just renting it? The advent of itunes.
