http://nikkiisamomonamission.blogspot.com/2012/02/adding-fuel-to-my-fire.html
Mom On A Mission. Monday, February 20, 2012. Adding fuel to my fire! This week marks the addition of two new classes for my repertoire. If you haven't gotten a chance to try a kettle bell class or a TRX class.I highly recommend trying them out! THEY ARE SUPER FUN! Kettle Bells lets you add strength to a cardio routine well the TRX challenges your core in a whole. I will be getting certified in both classes this weekend and begin teaching as well! KB is next on my certification wish list! Have fun with it!

Mom On A Mission: October 2011

Mom On A Mission. Monday, October 31, 2011. How you have a wonderful, safe Halloween! Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Nike Women's Marathon RACE RECAP! The start line was a little on the chaotic side and honestly.pretty poorly organized. But the course itself was BEA-UTIFUL! We had some pretty serious crowding issues where the course bottle necked and it forced everyone to walk. Not cool.not cool at all. They made up for it at mile 12 by handing out handfuls. Me, Audrey (survivor), and Jen (tnt alumni).

http://nikkiisamomonamission.blogspot.com/2012/02/training-for-spring-marathon.html
Mom On A Mission. Monday, February 13, 2012. Training for a spring marathon? When I decided to partner back up with TEAM In Training.I immediately went for a flashy race. The Nashville Country Music Marathon April 28, 2012. When I was day dreaming about how awesome the race would be and how much fun I would have on the trip.I mentally blocked that fact that I would be training for a marathon throughout the winter.and that I live in Nebraska. On Saturday.I ran 10 miles.it was 10 degrees outside.

http://nikkiisamomonamission.blogspot.com/2012/02/little-cabin-fever.html
Mom On A Mission. Friday, February 10, 2012. A Little Cabin Fever. Apparently Mother Nature remembered that is is supposed to be winter here in Nebraska. I think she decided to make up for lost time! I've had to hit the treadmill and few times this past week. Some days have gone well.the last one did not. I'm starting to get cabin fever and my runs seem to be the first thing suffering. On a fun note. Wes and I hit up the Omaha Children's Museum! It was a good time. How did it go? View my complete profile.

Mom On A Mission. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Taper Twitches and Business Niches. Although I hate to admit this publicly.my husband is a brilliant man. We had a really great conversation last weekend about me becoming a personal trainer and how that means I am "opening my own business". We talked about marketing, accounting, and what services I would offer. He suggested I write a business plan if this is. Since deciding to become a trainer I have been fortunate to be given some cool opportunities. Fir...

Mom On A Mission: Skinny Squirrels and Fat Americans
http://nikkiisamomonamission.blogspot.com/2012/01/skinny-squirrels-and-fat-americans.html
Mom On A Mission. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Skinny Squirrels and Fat Americans. While in Florida, it was very obvious that the weather stayed nice year round. First sign.the squirrels were skinny. Noticeably skinny. In January, here in Nebraska.the squirrels look more like this. Yupthey have put on their winter weight to try to survive the harsh winter here in the Heartland. Not in Florida. I also noticed something else striking regarding weight. Americans are fat. 2010 State Obesity Rates. I have never ...
