http://knitnlaura.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
This is the place I post pictures and information on my various fiber hobbies. Thursday, June 14, 2007. Well unfortunately this post will be pictureless. Today I am on a quest to find a way to take decent pictures in my home. We'll see what happens. Since it's raining, it'll be hard to find a place with decent lighting. I did want to say thank you to my Secret Pal, because she sent me a terrific package! My pal also sent a Jasmine sachet, and some Bath and Body Jasmine scented shower gel, yum! With lots ...

About 1/4 ball of sock yarn (I used Pure New Australian Wool). About 1/4 ball of lace weight yarn in contrasting colour wound into two balls. (I used 2 balls Ovation Mohair/Silk it has 170m/186yds and it didn't make much of a dent in them.). 6mm (US 10) knitting needles [If you want to match my gauge, you might want to try 5mm (US 8)'s.].

Knitting stuff and going on and on.: Guardian's Tail
http://ddrbroderick.blogspot.com/2007/08/guardians-tail.html
Knitting stuff and going on and on. Friday, August 24, 2007. 1 skein Brown Sheep Handpaint Originals 80m/88yds (Aran/Worsted weight) if making a substitution, I recommend something with silk, or another fibre that has a bit of shine to the colours. That way you get the look of dragon skin. 5mm needles or whatever needles give you a stitch definition you like. Not important with this yarn weight, the scarf is quite wide and you could use a thinner weight yarn if you prefer a skinner scarf. Cast on 24 sts.

Knitting stuff and going on and on.: Scarf instead of slippers.
http://ddrbroderick.blogspot.com/2007/06/scarf-instead-of-slippers.html
Knitting stuff and going on and on. Thursday, June 28, 2007. Scarf instead of slippers. I am still going on the slippers. They are a bit addictive so it's a good thing there are five little girls who want dancing slippers. My ISE 4 scarf finally made it to my pal Jenn. Now I can show it off and tell you the Saga of the Scarf. Fortunately Lynne of Threads in Time. Another couple of days of knitting this idea and that idea finally resulted in me. Knitting stuff and going on and on. Monday, May 09, 2011. Echo, echo, echooo. Long time no talk! Pay no attention to the bad blogger behind the screen posting last summer's photos. Bad blogger had many words. Bad blogger wrote them occasionally, but didn't post them. Honest! Bad blogger was playing outside, listening to frogs sing at night and having fun with kidlets. Also work and laundry. So. Much. Laundry. A pretty handsome man. How could bad blogger say no play to such a fun little face? Boyo Turns O...
