As stated in the about section, Skip likes community theater. He was deeply involved with The Wilton Playshop for 17 years and now directs in local community and youth theater groups. He has directed in Westport, New Canaan and Wilton. He currently the fall director for Wilton Children's Theater where he has directed; High School Musical, Willy Wonka, Annie and Bye Bye Birdie. He is also the director for Summerstage Jr. which seeks to introduce young actors to the theater.
