The Plumley Collection is owned by Nick and Sarah Plumley and is mainly kept in their attractive and characterful late Georgian house in Arundel, West Sussex. Nick and Sarah have gradually built up a small collection of period keyboard instruments which is now in good playing order after restoration by Andrew Lancaster www.squarepiano.net. There are also many prints and paintings depicting early keyboard instruments on show in the house.

I was born in 1940, and was educated at Tonbridge School and Selwyn College, Cambridge. I have spent most of my professional life in teaching, mainly at Christ's Hospital, the famous 450 year-old 'Blue-coat School', giving up a full time commitment there in 1987 in order to be able to devote more of my attention to painting and writing. My more recent work has been dominated by mixed media depictions of cathedrals, churches, country houses and historic sites both in the British Isles and Holland.
