Plummy: Developing Style: October 2010
http://plummyplum.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
A blog about finding personal style, being thrifty, shopping secondhand, and working with what you've got. Sunday, October 31, 2010. Four Ways To Wear Episode 10: Cognac-Colored Boots. The Candidate: Brown Giusti leather and suede knee-high boots that I found at the Goodwill for $20. Of course, they were a size 5 1/2 (I'm a 7 1/2) but that didn't stop me. The Goal: A pair of versatile brown boots. I went out to dinner last night with family and this is what I wore! Boots: Giusti via Goodwill. Plus, I Goo...

A blog about finding personal style, being thrifty, shopping secondhand, and working with what you've got. Friday, February 25, 2011. Elephant About My Waist. This dress is so much shorter than I remember it to be! At least with dark, opaque tights I can keep some modesty. I love this new elephant belt I found at the Goodwill. I had a new hole punched in the leather so it fits me better, which my local shoe cobbler does for free. Cardigan: Banana Republic via Goodwill. Dress: Pour La Frime via Goodwill.

Plummy: Developing Style: November 2010
http://plummyplum.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
A blog about finding personal style, being thrifty, shopping secondhand, and working with what you've got. Monday, November 29, 2010. After my crazy amount of unexpected time off recently (snow, I love you) I felt invigorated and ready to start a new week. Of course, so did the kids at my school and it took most of my energy to wrangle them to the tasks at hand in class, but that's another story! I had bought them thinking they would be a subdued navy, but clearly I was mistaken! Labels: 30 for 30. The r...

Plummy Mummy
A Londoner in Livingston. Monday, 12 September 2016. I was lucky, I didn't fully rely on the contract and most importantly it was non-exclusive - I was able to work at other jobs too. I loathe the zero hours, exclusive contracts that treat people as a commodity and hope that the government will do something about them. But as with all things currently, I have very little faith that the government will do anything about it. Wednesday, 7 September 2016. 5 words I hate just now. Where are you working now?
