http://textiles4you.blogspot.com/2011/04/april-fools.html
Friday, April 1, 2011. My oldest son watched a video on you tube on how to make your own fake poop. He begged me to make some before my husband got home tonight. I caved as you can see. Here is the video. Where we got the instructions from. Since my son is allergic to peanuts, we used SunButter. Instead. We also used Frosted Flakes. It smelled like the Hershey chocolate ride. Happy April Fools Day! Labels: April Fools Day. Elizabeth, blogging for SunButter. April 3, 2011 at 3:03 PM. Hi, Kristy,. Elizabet...

Textiles4you: May 2015
http://textiles4you.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 22, 2015. My Blog Has Moved. This week I decided to start blogging on my website. Instead of here for a few reasons. I'll get more traffic on my website. I haven't been blogging very much these days, unlike when I use to blog everyday. It is easier to upload photos onto my website's blog and not worry about space issues, which is why many pictures are missing from past posts on this blog. Here is a link to my website's blog. Textiles4you: How to make Tarn (t-shirt yarn)
http://textiles4you.blogspot.com/2009/12/how-to-make-tarn-t-shirt-yarn.html
Tuesday, December 29, 2009. How to make Tarn (t-shirt yarn). Lay out your shirt. One with little to no printing on it is preferable. The printing sits on the surface of the material and thus makes it harder to work with as tarn. Cut from arm pit to arm pit and cut off the bottom seam. Save these parts for another project. If there is printing below the arm pits, then cut off that to. Fold shirt from side to side leaving about a half an inch of a single layer exposed. Notice the uncut side? I am apart of ...

Textiles4you: More Purple Baby Hats for Charity
http://textiles4you.blogspot.com/2014/10/more-purple-baby-hats-for.html
Sunday, October 12, 2014. More Purple Baby Hats for Charity. Here are the hats that I made recently for Click for Babies: Period of Purple Crying Caps. A Child’s Light. The hats are handed out to babies born in November and December (where I am) to help make parents aware of what normal infant crying is. This is to help prevent shaken baby syndrome. So far I have made 24 hats for this charity. I love making the 2 and 3 color spiral hats. I followed this free pattern. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Tuesday Tot Craft Time: Scarecrow Paper Dolls. We went to the library's craft drop in today. Today's craft was making paper scarecrows. They provided the kids with 3 pieces of paper: an outline of a person, overalls, and a shirt and hat. They also had markers, scissors, and glue sticks. Next I applied the glue to the back of the clothes and he stuck them on the person. Labels: Tuesday tot craft time kids child kid scarecrow Fall Autumn paper doll. View my complete profile.

Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Rock My Guitar Beanie. I just love how this angle shows off the guitar. And this one shows the ribbing well. While this just demonstrates how fun my little monster truly is! He loves his beanie and wears it often. E In his beanie and matching rocker gear. Notcie the squared trim? This is what the X Marks the Spot looks like without the Xs. The X Marks the Spot. Gloves I made for E match his hat so well! He looks like such a tough little rocker when he has on the full ensemble.

Monday, April 25, 2011. 3 for 3 in Philly. Okay, so I allow myself to digress from crochet every once in a while, espcially when there are major sports happenings in the city. Three of the teams - Phillies, Sixers and Flyers - played yesterday and they all won! That's virtually unheard of! Posted by Kissyface Kreations. Links to this post. Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Heidi's Hobby: December 2011
http://heidihobby.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 21, 2011. A couple months ago my cousin sent me this link: http:/ www.blogher.com/. And I was inspired to make a Christmassy version! I got a metal frame at Michaels. For about $5 and then went to Fabricland. Where all the holiday cottons were on sale in the month of November. I choose 11 designs and had them cut the minimum amount - 4inches - of each. That only cost about $7 - so for only $12 I had my supplies ready to go. Thankfully I just put on some good tv and got it done :).

Heidi's Hobby: Easy No-Sew Fleece Blanket
http://heidihobby.blogspot.com/2010/10/easy-no-sew-fleece-blanket.html
Friday, October 15, 2010. Easy No-Sew Fleece Blanket. Today was a great day - a regular work day but it involved some crafts! October is United Way month and the department I work for has a goal to raise a lot of money. One of the ways of doing this is raffling off some gift baskets. Everyone was asked what they might contribute, and the idea is that it will mostly be homemade contributions of some sort. Last year I knit some dishcloths and this year I volunteered to make a cozy fleece blanket. Note: bec...
