Live and Direct from the Flip Side - E. K. Mangosteen. 10 November 2014 @ 03:01 am. Live and Direct from the Flip Side. I'm in Tokyo for the next week or so. Having flown in yesterday evening, the jetlag beast has triumphed in ways that I've not experienced in years, so here's a couple of random observations from way too early in the morning:. In Tokyo Central Station, people moved in streams. If you're traveling from the US or Canada, the good news is that you don't need plug adapters, and most modern s...

So Saturday I went to my friend Jim's birthday party, which was at an - Bri. Apr 23rd, 2012 12:56 pm. Sexy and I Know It. So Saturday I went to my friend Jim's birthday party, which was at an indoor trampoline bounce-a-rama place. And there was much bouncing, 2/3 of it controlled and 1/3 of it of the "oh gracious, I did not mean to go here, no no I did not mean to go here at all" sort, and after the bouncing was over we had pizza and cake and it was a good celebration, hooray. 2012-04-23 06:53 pm (UTC).

On The Streets of Cambridge: The kindness of strangers
http://cambridgestreets.blogspot.com/2007/12/kindness-of-strangers.html
On The Streets of Cambridge. The day to day journal of trying to survive in Harvard Sq being homeless. Friday, December 7, 2007. The kindness of strangers. I had coffee this afternoon with 'pinetreeblossom' and we had a nice chat. I was blown away by her kindness and I am deeply grateful. If anybody reading this has an old desktop collecting dust in a closet I am sure the students who run the shelter would be thrilled to give it a new home. They can be reached at. Thanks for reading.more tomorrow. It was...

Community Maintenance - President Obama
http://president-obama.livejournal.com/55795.html
Community Maintenance - President Obama. Change has come to America! America is a land of big dreamers and big hopes. It is this hope that has sustained us through revolution and civil war, depression and world war, a struggle for civil and social rights and the brink of nuclear crisis. And it is because our dreamers dreamed that we have emerged from each challenge more united, more prosperous, and more admired than before. 13 August 2009 @ 12:28 pm.

Something like cheddar. Or maybe gorgonzola. Party sleep dep =? Apr 3rd, 2011 at 10:31 AM. I've been good recently about trying to get out and do something social once a week or so. I am rewarded by being reminded on a regular basis that I know a lot of really neat people, and. Know a lot of really neat people, so it stands to reason that I will find good company if I just get my ass out of the house and go to a party once in a while. I whispered back, but it had already fallen silent. What do you want?

Oh, my poor neglected Live Journal. - Life. Oh, my poor neglected Live Journal. May 24th, 2010 10:00 pm. It's been too long. But at least here I can post something more than a few lines long and I know that only a few trusted people will actually read it, rather than the public life that Facebook has become. Ok, so here's my moral question, and it's a heavy one:. Do I have a duty to tell someone about this possibility? Or does that overstep my bounds? 2010-05-25 03:34 am (UTC). Doesn't seem like overstep...

Death Penalty - Life

Death Penalty - Life. Sep 25th, 2009 11:15 am. Just thinking about Susan Atkins dying her natural death in prison, living long enough to find redemption and (I think) feel and express remorse for what she had done. Does the death penalty set a bad example? Should our goal as a society be one of growth and evolution on a longer term, rather than the immediate fixing of problems? What does it do to a young person's psyche to see that our government can sanction the killing of another human being?

Jul 2nd, 2013 09:45 am. Random Question #1: Do you like peas? I dohowever, I have to confess I like the growing and prepping of them more than I actually like eating them. As each pea came loose and fell into the bowl. Eww, don't use your fingers! 2013-07-02 07:15 pm (UTC). Peas *are* fun :) They are actually one vegetable I prefer the frozen or canned version of to the fresh, though. I know, I'm weird. 2013-07-02 09:25 pm (UTC). 2013-07-05 01:46 pm (UTC). 2013-07-02 08:18 pm (UTC). Frozen pees, the slig...
