The Plymouth Arts Council. PAC) is a non-profit organization that affiliates with the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department. We started in 1995 through the effort of the City of Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department. When a group of citizens with a common interest in visual and performing arts came together as Plymouth Community Arts . We are a community resource that develops opportunities to share, learn, grow and express the arts. We actively partner with the City of Plymouth. Our Goals are to:.

An opportunity for the public to view and celebrate a mixture of fine art and entertainment. The Banner Competition is an initiative through the Plymouth Arts Council and the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department to enhance the City’s streets with public art. The top 3 banner designs from both the teen category and the adult category will be displayed at Primavera and on light poles each summer along the streets of Plymouth. Wave Your Banner High! The Plymouth Arts Council and the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department sponsored the 6th annual public art banner competition. As a result, eleven new original banners will be on display on light posts along Plymouth Boulevard this summer. They have been added to the banners from previous years competitions and will remain on display through Fall. This ongoing project will continue next year.
