Perhaps not the Great Pumpkin but our large pumpkin was the bearer of many pumpkin seeds, soon to be roasted to yummy goodness! 6 tablespoons butter, melted. 15 teaspoon garlic salt. 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (preferably Lowry's). 6 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds.

Friday, April 22, 2011. Take it up a notch: Brining your Easter Turkey with herbs. Once you brine a turkey, it's hard to go back to the unbrined version. It just doesn't have the flavour. I use a herb brine. Very simple but produces amazing taste! 1 cup sea salt. 1 tbsp each of rosemary, thyme, savory and sage.
