Tuesday, January 01, 2013. It's a new day! Everyday is a new day. Everyday is a gift given to us so we can carry out what God has called us to. It's easy for me to blog about it, talk about it and preach about it. But not to live it. So, at the end of 1st January 2013, this new year 2013, I pray that I treat each day as a gift to do something for God's glory. The year has also unleashed. A hidden evil in this country. Most of all, for this year, I wish for Love. I am reminded of these verses.

I am far far away from home, doing my post grad studies in the U.K. It's a good experience and lots of work but i'm managing pretty well. God has been faithful. Saturday, March 19, 2011. Today I decided I wanted to make dinner and I made a baked fish with some rosemary potato wedges. The fish was really flavorful and nice. I marinated it with lime, a bit of mayonnaise(like half a teaspoon per fish), chilli powder, parsley, pepper and salt. Then I coated it with breadcrumbs and drizzled a mixture of olive oil and butter and baked it. The rosemary potatoes are really simple and I used olive oil, dried rosemary, a hint of garlic powder and salt and pepper.

Wednesday, March 16, 2011. My one and only, always and forever. Tomorrow is St.Patrick's day and the 35th birthday of Steve if he was alive. I have had birthday parties for Steve when I was younger, I have given chocolates to friends in school for his birthday, I was what people would called mental! Thursday, December 09, 2010. I'll have some pita with that humus, Abdullah. Recently I heard somewhere that local Indians were asked what their views were on Hamas and Hezbollah. One girl answered, "Hezbollah is what they say when they want to make fun of Abdullah and Hamas is the dish they make out of Chick peas". The reporter, baffled, told her, "but that's Hummus" and her reply was "Hummus, Hamas, Potato, Potahto". Let us all eat some Hummus now. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Not much to say.

Saturday, March 26, 2011. Today I decided to make something I've always wanted to try- Meatloaf! I have never had meatloaf in my life and I don't know why! I searched for a few recipes online and finally found a base recipe in this! I know the photo doesn't look very appetizing cause I used a small loaf tin and it only filled half the tin and I used the camera from my phone but it tasted pretty good! Sunday, January 16, 2011. 2010 is over, this year had the best memories of my life, really enjoyed living this year, i hope 2011 is much better, i have so many wishes in 2011, hope they come true, please God stay beside me and help make it all true". For some reason, this struck me so bad. I mean, she was just like us. She had friends, a job, school, family, Facebook! And then she is killed for one reason, being a Christian. What is wrong with our World? I think they are people, my people, what can I do?

Thursday, March 17, 2011. As many of you might know I went to Delhi last month. One of the highlights of my trip was meeting a "friend" I met on Facebook! Some people called it my blind date. Let me tell you the story of my blind date that wasn't nerve- racking, uncomfortable or disastrous. I was really excited! But things don't always go according to plan so she didn't come to Glasgow finally but we still kept it touch and I even met one of her weird Scottish friends in Glasgow! Good for you, gitu!
