Paul Nendicks journal of travel and other musings. 08 October 2004 @ 12:06 am. Well my KL adventure is about done. I've been to the top of the Petronas Towers, ridden a roller coaster around the inside of a massive mall, shopped, gorged on Indian curry and clubbed with Malay yuppies. KL is very vanilla - typical of nouveau-riche cities. I did however have a wicked time two nights back seeing one of my favorite DJ's Benny Benassi. Satisfaction. Was a real crowd pleaser and remains the Greatest Video Ever.

The promise of making money in Honduras seems reasonably good at the moment. I hope to work there for a few months and save enough and come back to some of these places and really see them. I found it to be a beautifully melancholy film. The scenes with the young woman are compelling and the slapstick of Bill Murray's character's travel madness is spot on.
