http://happinesswithless.blogspot.com/2014/04/what-now-minimalism-and-happiness.html
Learning to Live A Minimalist Lifestyle. Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Since beginning my minimalist journey, I have become happier with my physical possessions and spending habits. I have not spent nearly as much on things I do not need and my physical possessions are weighing less on me (metaphorically) as they take us less room (literally). I decided to read Gretchen Rubin's book The Happiness Project. I always stick to things better when I have two things in place: 1 - a plan, 2 - accountability. Or an ...

Happiness with Less: About
http://happinesswithless.blogspot.com/p/about.html
Learning to Live A Minimalist Lifestyle. On August 27, 2013, I stopped eating meat after watching a few too many documentaries about our food system. I began thinking about every product in my life and all of the things I owned and purchased. I switched over to a mostly vegan lifestyle by the middle of October and have since thought carefully about whether I purchase items that use animal products. At the beginning of 2014, I stumbled across a few minimalist blogs ( Becoming Minimalist. Be More With Less.

And Foster Makes Five. All you need is love… and a dog. (Or three! November 28, 2013. By And Foster Makes 5. First of all: Happy Thanksgiving, friends! This is the first time visiting my family without either my own pups or my parents’ dogs around. However, as the saying goes, how lucky am I to have someone to love, who makes saying goodbye so hard? It certainly makes for super-sweet reunions. Can you all remind me of these words when it comes time to say goodbye to Kingston? November 28, 2013 at 2:29 pm.

Happiness with Less: April 2014
http://happinesswithless.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Learning to Live A Minimalist Lifestyle. Friday, April 25, 2014. This video, Story of Stuff,. Sold me (haha, punny) on not purchasing new items. The amount of waste we used to produce as just two people was staggering. Since we stopped buying things and trying to recycle as much as possible, I have noticed that we put out a good amount of recycling and one (not even full) trash bag each week. When you don't buy that much stuff, there isn't that much to throw out! What do you think? For many years I.

Happiness with Less: Why I'm Learning to Write
http://happinesswithless.blogspot.com/2014/03/why-im-learning-to-write.html
Learning to Live A Minimalist Lifestyle. Sunday, March 16, 2014. Why I'm Learning to Write. In order to finish my graduate program and magically be ordained a rabbi next year, I need to complete a traditional thesis or capstone project. I chose to write a capstone project and will embark on a journey to learn about ethics, Judaism, and food in order to write an ethical cookbook. The finished project should be about 80 written pages and I am so scared about writing those 80 pages. Why "learn" to write?

Trex is trekking along. I’ve been inspired by a graduate school friend, Allie and her blogs here. And just a general sense of contemplation lately to try and write again. It may fail, but I’m going to try. Last week was Pesach began. It is obviously already over. Yet ever since I’ve reached adulthood I have developed a strong affinity for hosting a first night seder. It’s a double-edged sword. I’m committed to making the Jewish community stronger but that means sometimes I’m unable ...As always with the ...
