The story ends where it begins. The mother's last instruction is to squeeze a loaf of bread to see if it is fresh. The girl asks plaintively "What if the baker won't let me feel the bread? At the very last, "Girl" is a circular story that breaks the endless tension in mother-daughter relationships with wry humor.

Sunday, October 19, 2008. Last blogging for The Chocolate War. I finally finished reading the book. I read about 15 chapters this week. And so on. However there was one teacher who was able to stop this fighting. The teacher found out that Archie was doing something bad. Later on Jerry wen to hospital.
