Just a guy trying to get by: My three words for 2012
http://www.benjaminmstrong.com/2011/12/my-three-words-for-2012.html
Just a guy trying to get by. Saturday, December 31, 2011. My three words for 2012. Every year Chris Brogan. Posts his three words. He doesn't do a New Year's resolution, instead he works his goals around these three words or themes. He's not alone, others have taken the three words idea and expanded on it. So what are my three words for 2012? I want to grow. Grow my knowledge base, my education, my skills as a public speaker. How? Or one of the many brick and mortar universities such as SUNY Maritime.

Video StudentGuy: #168 Summer Vacation
http://videostudentguy.blogspot.com/2010/08/168-summer-vacation.html
Sunday, August 29, 2010. Here's a short explanation of the past three months. I finished a corporate promotional video. For an integrated circuit manufacturer in Massachusetts. I partnered with Lou Goodman. And we worked together shooting and editing the video. And I completed a 30 second commercial. For the living history museum, Plimoth Plantation. Everything always takes more time that you think. Once I've got that nailed, I'll move on to producing a portfolio site. DSLR video events through Avid.

Sunday, October 17, 2010. Screencasting 101.2 Podcamp CT - Slides. Podcamp Ct was a great success. Not a glitch as far as I could see. The facility was fantastic and several times I heard people say they had never had wireless access that was so good. I agree, it was rock solid and fast. For myself I had mixed feelings about the presentation I gave on Screencasting. As before I have converted the slides to PDF and you download them here. So not failure. I got some valuable feedback from the people wh...

Video StudentGuy: September 2009
http://videostudentguy.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 25, 2009. 137 Teach your children well. This show is about two experiences that were bouncing around in my head and collided. First, a podcast about technology and second, conversations with educators lead me to consider the necessity of providing some kind of multimedia literacy as part of the higher education experience. Sort of like directed play in the schoolyard to avoid bullying. Here are some links to people and places mentioned in the show. On The Log # 73. Links to this post.
