Sunday, August 15, 2010. After three amazing years Wesley William graduated from Early Explorations. Hard to believe that he and his sister both spent three amazing years there and it's all over. Thursday, June 10, 2010. June is here. and we have a new graduate. On Monday Madeline said to me, while sounding like her teacher, "Wow! This year has just. And today is the last day of school. We're taking a week off to relax and then begins the fun summer of YMCA camps. Every week will bring a new camp. Thursday, June 10, 2010. May brings playdates and soccer. We had a lot of fun playdates. We saw our friends Nico and Sofia, as well as Madeline's friend's Kylie (from Kindergarten). And her oldest friend Kennedy from preschool. The kids are all getting so much older and self sufficient. It's really fun to get to watch them play and interact without fighting! When Wes, my baby, turned 5 this past October I was shocked and troubled at how quickly time is going by, but out of no where Madeline turns 7? And she looks 7 too. She's tall and lanky, and looks like a kid, not a toddler, not a young child, but a real KID! She said to me, right before she went to sleep that night, "Mommy, I'm a grown woman now! Thursday, May 13, 2010. Another trip to Disneyland. This was another great trip where the adults got to enjoy the rides just as much as the kids. And then the best part, "build a bear". Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to Build a bear. It was the first time for all of them. They picked cute teddy bears and doggies and bought clothes and had a blast. It was a fantastic two days! And as you can see from the pictures, everyone had a great time. They are already asking when the next trip will be.

Sunday, January 09, 2011. 2011 is off to a fun start. We got to celebrate Jim's birthday on January 2nd with Granddaddy and Granellie. They arrived on the 2nd and stayed two days and spent lots of time playing Foosball and mancala and generally hanging out with us and the kids. Madeline and Wes couldn't have been happier to spend time with them. No worries though, she was cleaned up and ready to have cake and game time. All and all, a great party. Wednesday, December 29, 2010. November with Relatives and friends. In November, we had a fun visit from Great Grandma Pik, Aunt Jan, Aunt Peggy and Uncle Clayton. It was a great weekend. We spent two nights and a day at Disneyland and what a fun time. The lines were pretty long but the kids had a lot of fun! Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Gobble Gobble, twice. The following Sunday we headed up to our annual Thanksgiving at La Cuesta. It was kind of cold and wet this year so we didn't get the usual wiffle ball and football games played, but we did make a huge mess in the basement, every toy was out, and of course we polished off more dinner.
