The woods are lovely, dark and deep. Wednesday, July 21, 2010. How the song Precious Things by Tori Amos got me suspended. As a wee girl of 16 I was a bit rambunctious, to say the least. To tame my wild ways, my mother sent me to (dun dun dun) CATHOLIC SCHOOL (gasp)! Half-way through my first day of classes, I discovered catholic school kids were much more sinister and unruly than anybody knew. They were convincing monsters, hellions in uniforms! I was woman, and goddamn it, I wanted to fucking roar!
