The Booty | poetsandthieves

Just another WordPress.com site. I have found your poetry. By googling witchling battlecat. Am inspired by your intention. To amble. I want to write for you. The poems that I disavowed last year. For reasons that escape me now…. Probably folly disguised as sense. You can post these if you want. Consider this a prologue, or. A preview of coming distractions,. As my dance professor would say. I’ll start with the one poem. That I did manage to write. At the end of Evolution:. One techno dome this hour.
The Rain | poetsandthieves

Just another WordPress.com site. May 29, 2015. Posted by witchlingbattlecat1974 under nature. I can’t tell what bursts forth. Is it me or the Universe coming to meet me? The stillness in these Trees. Fluffface’s arrival every morning hoping to be fed. The same expanse of sky offering new warmth. The dance between work and desire. Hunger and what we long to be received. All churning inside of me. Bare hands in the Dirt. Cheeks brushing in the greeting of friends. Eating ice cream out of the container.
Worm beneath my fingertips | poetsandthieves

Just another WordPress.com site. May 13, 2015. Worm beneath my fingertips. Posted by witchlingbattlecat1974 under nature. I want to be something ordinary…. To watch the storms move in. Gray skies and wind. The worm beneath my fingertips. The butterfly; wing clipped by the weed whacker. I may never think that I am enough…. Or realize that I don’t have to be. I may never say the right thing or know the proper way to act. And it simply doesn’t matter. I will continue to risk for intimacy. From your own site.

Just another WordPress.com site. June 20, 2015. Posted by witchlingbattlecat1974 under Uncategorized. That language has forgotten me and my errors. Mirror those of my father. No more need for upper case soon. No more need for letters at all. I love the way he calls me sal. My memory serves what it needs to. To carry me to the deepest places. That don’t require syntax or punctuation. That poverty has become. I rebel against my own insistence of anything. Refine what can’t be glanced at and forgotten.
Innocence on the vine | poetsandthieves

Just another WordPress.com site. March 27, 2015. Innocence on the vine. Posted by witchlingbattlecat1974 under Santa Fe. Is it the innocence that we chase after and. Try to return to…. I thought it was some Celestial Union or. Reuniting with “God”. I begin now to think it is the innocence. The beauty in its veins. Fruit not yet ripe on the vine. Fruit ripe before the fall. When wisdom is all words and not yet experience. We haven’t been stretched and shrunk against the skin of our masters.

Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Of Snow and Spaceships. February got quiet after the Super Bowl. Two staff members went to Haiti to teach pottery. Another left for a wedding in the Austrian Alps. The other two full-time staff live off campus. So these days I find myself in the odd position of being the most seasoned resident at the Grünewald Guild. Even though I just got here last month. Forever Arriving: December, January, and the Inbetween
http://foreverarriving.blogspot.com/2014/01/december-january-and-inbetween.html
Monday, January 13, 2014. December, January, and the Inbetween. At Willa's house, in November and December, I struggled to write. I banged out stilted sentences as reluctantly as if I were writing college essays on subjects I didn't care about. I seized upon a thousand distractions, brawled with my own fears of failure and success, and ultimately faced down the question: Do I want to write this book, or not? Construction vehicle, lost in the woods. Want to write this book. The last week of the year typic...

Oh, the lush greens and rolling terrain of the Southeast in early summer remain constant as I ricochet through Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and back again in reverse order. But the journey has a different kind of momentum on the way west; the pendulum has swung to the end of its arc and reversed. Im headed back toward home. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, March 22, 2014. Yesterday was the Vernal Equinox, when days and nights are of equal length. Soon, summer days will stretch out wide and bright here in central Washington. but for now, the paths between buildings are all slushy ice and mud puddles. A little more snow fell yesterday, which made us laugh and roll our eyes: Springtime. What a card. Does this qualify as mud-luscious? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Irving and Exy Johnson. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Half a Year's Accounting. What has become of the past six months? In April, the Handsome Communard flew to Seattle, where I met him at the airport. We headed south to visit friends and family in Oregon and Northern California, and drove all the way down to Santa Cruz for Easter. Revisiting the Little Farm, where it all began. http://foreverarriving.blogspot.com/2011/08/destination-middle-of-nowhere.html
Sunday, August 14, 2011. Destination: Middle of Nowhere. Finally hit the road Wednesday morning. I greet the California border with a loud cheer. I pass border guards (do they really spend all day asking people if they have any fresh fruit? A giant metal flower sculpture, and a barn with STATE OF JEFFERSON painted on the roof: Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore. I have to ask: "Won't the smell bother you? Oh, our cows don't smell bad," she assures me. "You'll see.". August 14, 2011 at 9:19 PM.
