Single Mom So Far. 8230;figuring it out on the daily. About This Single Mom So Far. Work of the Soul #sol16. March 29, 2016. I notice that it is only when my mother is working in her flowers that she is radiant, almost to the point of being invisible except as Creator: hand and eye. She is involved in work her soul must have. Ordering the universe in the image of her personal conception of Beauty. 8211;Alice Walker, “In Search of Our Mother’s Gardens”. What is wrong with me! A Fire Kindled | Loving Literacy
https://kristinemblog.wordpress.com/2016/03/30/a-fire-kindled
A blog about my life as a literacy coach. March 30, 2016. The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a FIRE to be kindled. –Plutarch. As an instructional coach, my natural instinct is to fill brains, fill brains to the brim with strategies, data, ideas, or advice. But, really, what I want to do is kindle a fire. I want to sow the seeds of excitement and anticipation. I want to spark imaginations and expectations. View all posts by litcoach64 ». One response ». March 30, 2016 at 9:49 pm.

Gatekeeper – djvichos

It’s a last minute decision to stop at a small playlot that Gus and I discovered on a walk last summer. We left the house early and have a few minutes to spare before Gus needs to be at daycare. I’m also curious about something. I want to know if Gus will like the swing. It’s been a season since I put Gus in a swing, and I want to see what the answer will be now. After struggling to slip Gus’s feet in through the awkward holes, he sits rather tentatively. He likes it…. March 30, 2016. March 30, 2016.

A few more things I have learned in SOLSC16. March 31, 2016. On day 8 of this challenge, I wrote a list of some things this journey had taught me. Since tomorrow is the last day of the #SOLSC16, I figured today would be a good day to revisit and reflect. Here. Is a link to the first list in case you would like to read it! When you do something every day, it becomes a routine. Procrastinating writing my slices until approximately 30 minutes before the deadline to submit has become a routine (see #1).

March 30, 2016. Currently, I am checking texts from my sister (oh….now mom has also joined the conversation! Sending the kids off to brush their teeth and get ready for bed, making myself a too-late-I’m-so-starving-you-might-want-to-keep-your-distance-dinner (risotto…not something I have had success with in the past, we shall see how it goes this time! Putting dishes in the dishwasher, and writing my slice of life. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Reflections on an MRI. March 30, 2016 at 3:31 am.

A blog about my life as a literacy coach. March 29, 2016. The uncertainties of being an instructional coach…. Did I do enough? Did I ask the right questions? What could I suggest? Should we try something else? Where can we look? Do I make an impact? I am an instructional coach for grades 5-8. My focus is ELA. I also love home decor, vintage, reading and travel.
