Una Pelirroja en España: June 2008
http://annasansebastian.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Una Pelirroja en España. Monday, June 30, 2008. I know this is getting old, but every day I am amazed at how people here bend over backwards to help me with my film. Last week I did a film with a more nationalist Basque who is part of an organization that works to promote the use of Euskera, the Basque language. He wanted to make sure that I had Euskera in my documentary so he did the whole interview twice! And now I have someone else to help me because Marlee's here! She arrived on Wed at midnight after...

So in all the excitement of going to the sociedad on Saturday and being able to film it, I didn't take any photos for you guys. Here's a photo of the outside that I found on a website. Unfortunately, today is more phone and computer time because I have a bad cold and didn't feel good about walking to visit more people. Tomorrow I'll hopefully be a b...

Anna in San Sebastian, Spain. Emily in Madrid, Spain. Luke in Sydney, Australia. Sarah in St. Petersburg. William in the British Empiar! Tuesday, July 1, 2008. Posting my experiences and thoughts to a public forum is a new experience for me and I had hoped to "kill two birds with one stone" by keeping both friends and family and my university updated at the same time. However I will be keeping in contact with my mentors and advisors through email now. Posted by A. Langsner.

Una Pelirroja en España: ¡Que suerte!
http://annasansebastian.blogspot.com/2008/06/que-suerte.html
Una Pelirroja en España. Friday, June 20, 2008. Asier's next plans for me are on Monday night, which is noche de San Juan. This is the longest day of the year and they have a fiesta that goes all night. Asier is going to take me to a small town nearby that still celebrates this a large bonfire and men in traditional outfits dancing around it. I am so excited! It's really, really impressive to read about all the stuff going on in with your research. I hope you're having a good time! WOw, you've been busy!

Una Pelirroja en España: May 2008
http://annasansebastian.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Una Pelirroja en España. Saturday, May 31, 2008. The next day I actually met up with a friend from high school, Val Couch. I found out 2 days before I left that she´s in Bilbao (thank you facebook). I hadn´t seen Val since high school so it was really amazing hanging out with her. Val showed me all around Bilbao and helped me get a cell phone. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Una Pelirroja en España: Un buen dia
http://annasansebastian.blogspot.com/2008/06/un-buen-dia.html
Una Pelirroja en España. Friday, June 13, 2008. I had a request for an explanation as to how I'm communicating with people and how I'm meeting people. I'm talking to everyone in Spanish. Most of the people I speak to can speak in Euskera, but they speak in Spanish as well. The only Euskera I know right now is "kaitxo" (pronounced kai show. And told me her boyfriend and his Basque friends would love to help me with my film! This is an insane opportunity! Anna, that sounds AMAZING! Have tons of fun! Vinega...
