From the inside out. Thursday, February 6, 2014. Fleeting moments. They could be the ones making or breaking a situation, but at the same time, and in the midst of appreciating what is to befall us after. Granted, if it were to be something ominous, then I suppose those seconds of anticipation may have served a longer purpose of a higher value, notwithstanding its split-second nature, and that the hypothetical man may have thought of holding onto that metaphorical hourglass for just a little while longer.

From the inside out. Wednesday, December 25, 2013. To what emotional mounds have all these life events exactly conjured into? I'm finding it rather frightening how I find these. Trust me, I'm a medical student: November 2008
http://poormedic.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Trust me, I'm a medical student. Sunday, November 16, 2008. Yes I do realise it's 3.22 am. But I felt the need to announce this to the world. The couple who live in the apartment block which I pass by every time I go to the train station have finally acquired curtains after two years of living there. Goodbye nights when I'm walking home from the station and noticing a naked man by the window. Farewell days when I see the lady changing in her bedroom. I guess they have gotten over their exhibitionist stage.

Trust me, I'm a medical student: Holy smokes, I am still alive!

Trust me, I'm a medical student. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Holy smokes, I am still alive! Contrary to popular belief that I may have gone underground as a black market organ relieving surgeon, I am actually still here, doing - of all things - psychiatry. When I'm not surrounded by depressed, " Oh no dear, I don't drink any alcohol, just a bit of sherry in my tea 6 times a day along with the occasional red wine, good for my health, they say". I am enjoying it, really. But it's not quite medicine, is it?

Trust me, I'm a medical student. Saturday, August 30, 2008. Guide to Clinical Year. The key to surviving clinical year lies in mastering the art of loitering. More specifically, loitering with intent. A lot of time is spent hanging around in ward corridors, in front of the nurses station, outside procedure rooms, in the hallways of clinics, waiting for things to happen. We're always waiting for something. I'd suggest eponymous syndromes. They are good for impressing people with your extensive knowled...

Trust me, I'm a medical student: I have a question
http://poormedic.blogspot.com/2009/04/i-have-question.html
Trust me, I'm a medical student. Thursday, April 16, 2009. I have a question. I watched a movie yesterday which involved a member of a triad sticking a shovel into someone's forearm and effectively severing it. My question is, how easy is it to amputate someone's limbs? Or even a knife? In movies all they seem to do is swipe a shovel/long sword/knife/hell even a claymore through it and voila. Operation complete. And it's helpful to have an electric saw or a guillotine maybe. I'd like to know. April 26, 2...
