Tuesday, August 7, 2007. The North Face 50K August 4th, 2007. The Boyfriend and I went over to Tyson's Corner to pick up my packet on Friday afternoon. We were meeting Meridith, Derrick and his Wife Sue, and Linda for dinner once they got in and settled. Jamie and I spent some time shopping and looking at stuff for our "new" house. Tuesday, May 1, 2007. I had every intention of finishing up my report on the Umstead trip, and I will. I finally got the pictures to everyone in Team Meri-Go-Round, so I guess my weekend report will be following in a few. :). Also during April was the unfortunate events at Virginia Tech. Being Alumni, I was shocked and upset by it all. Tech was my second home and what happened there hit hard. My heart goes out to all those affected by it. Happy trails, keep smiling. Tuesday, May 27, 2008. 60 some days and over 100 miles. The alarm goes off too early and I am up and getting ready for the race. I get my race ready shorts packed with food and S! Thoughout the hilly portion of the course I pushed uphill and then ran downhill, trying to keep ahead of the run drop vehicles. Thursday, August 13, 2009. Where does the time go? I must confess I am not good at this blogging thing. I always think I'll get things on here, but I never do. I just seem to always forget. So I'll catch up on the past months in a short amount of time. April- Umstead was Fabulous, I had a 50 mile PR, coming in just under 16 hours.
