Oregon Trip - Aug. 2012. Sept 9 - 23, 2012. Click on the blog tab to see the posts. Did you say your name was Ramblin' Rose? Ramble on baby, settle down easy. These are the chronicles of our travels in our Airstream trailer, Ramblin’ Rose. She came into our life in October of 2011. We were on our Retirement Trip. Circumnavigating North America in our Roadtrek Agile. And a 2011 Chevy Silverado tow vehicle. In Punta Gorda, Flordia we met the perfect RV dog, Rocco.

The first week in August we leave for our big retirement adventure, in general we are circumnavigating North America going West to East through Canada. We're doing the trip in our Roadtrek Agile. It's a 20' long motorhome built on a Sprinter Van, powered by a Mercedes turbo-diesel getting between 20-22 miles per gallon. We began our trip in the Roadtrek Agile described above, but we ended it in a 27' Airstream travel trailer. To get back to California we needed a tow vehcle, we got a big 2011 Chevy truck.
