In-House Translators - A Dying Breed. About “the third”. My home on the web - featuring my real-life persona! Something funny happened on my way to work…. I was swearing up a storm about some idiot dump truck driver who didn’t fasten his load properly! Thank God nothing happened! And in case someone is wondering why it got a little quiet around here, I am really busy with my ASP.NET class. In-House Translators - A Dying Breed. About “the third”. My home on the web - featuring my real-life persona! Cold callers asking for call-back. I am receiving an unsolicited call from a translation agency which I have never done business with. The name appeared on the caller ID so I didn’t pick up. The caller left a message, asking me to call him back. Is this normal? Why would I want to call him back? Usually, cold callers will just try again, but not ask you to call them. In-House Translators - A Dying Breed. About “the third”. My home on the web - featuring my real-life persona! Normal, Light, Minimum. I am translating some device strings, and sometimes you run into strings that just seem so wrong. Right now, I am working on a device that triggers a measurement when a user presses down on the measurement head. The user can select how much pressure has to be put on the device, and the options are Normal, Light and Minimum. July 28, 2010 Filed Under Work. Where in the World.
