Tuesday, December 20, 2011. It’s been two months already! Owen with Dr. del Castillo. Owen’s birthday party in the hospital and meeting Grampy, Elisabeth and Clara. The big girls went to church in outfits Auntie Emmy sent from her trip to China while Grammy, Mommy, and Owen stayed home! Pastor Veiga came to visit. Owen rested in the sunlight. Clara made a feast for Elisabeth and herself. Celebrating Grampy’s birthday. Up for his first outing to Kacey’s baby shower at church. What a fun Daddy! At the mall...

Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Things I don't want to forget. Elisabeth has started counting, though the number sequence is "1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 10." Today, she proudly announced that she had nine toes, after counting the digits on one foot! Last week at dinner we were explaining opposites to Clara. "The opposite of tall is not tall, or short," I told her. After doing several pairs successfully, I asked her, "What is the opposite of clean? Not clean," she replied. "What is another word for 'not clean'?
