Theres a peculiar tension between the directional energy of the two characters movement and the rather lax leash connecting them. Seems to say something about their relationship but its left to the viewer to determine what. The arcane essence is confirmed by the gate and barbed wire above. even by the cast shadows dividing their relationship. Fairly powerful undercurrent, even if Im way off base here.
