Politically Blue Collar: Pig Sickness

http://www.politicallybluecollar.blogspot.com/2009/04/with-grand-fear-of-national-pandemic.html

Thursday, April 30, 2009. With the grand fear of a national pandemic coursing through peoples minds and Texas’ close proximity to Mexico, it is no wonder that swine flu is receiving the majority of attention from every news source in the state of Texas. All this outrage is causing the state’s local governments to overreact and feed the ever growing monster that came from Mexico. So far there has only been one confirmed death. All in all Texas, and the U.S., is doing more harm than good. Inste...Mr Ryan i...

Thursday, March 26, 2009. Sobriety Checkpoints: A future possibility. The opinion article I chose “The Best Sobriety Checkpoint Bill I Ever Opposed”. Posted by Scott Henson identifies and outlines a current bill, SB 298, in the Texas legislature. If SB 298, proposed by Senator John Carona, is passed it would allow sobriety checkpoints in the state of Texas. This bill also attempts to negate the current disadvantages seen in other state’s sobriety checkpoints. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Austin news, spor...

Politically Blue Collar: Response to classmate's blog

http://www.politicallybluecollar.blogspot.com/2009/04/response-to-classmates-blog.html

Thursday, April 16, 2009. Response to classmate's blog. While sifting through my classmate's articles I came across Bob Law's article about trans-fats. Interesting about the 'trans-fat' law proposed. I know the FDA is now in charge of tobacco in the U.S. I was wondering when the gov't was going to get around to regulating everything. That is deemed 'bad' for us. Why am I not really any happier about my life now that I have no decisions to make? April 17, 2009 at 10:38 AM. View my complete profile. Texas ...

Texas Govt: The cure?

http://simplenboring2.blogspot.com/2009/02/cure.html

Thursday, February 26, 2009. They discuss a possible upcoming solution that will help cure the common cold. Although there is a twist in the cure, they have decoded a strand of Rhinovirus. That could possibly lead to a cure, but researchers are still conducting studies and performing tests. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My political views are Liberal. Texas Govt: My comment

http://simplenboring2.blogspot.com/2009/04/my-comment.html

Wednesday, April 15, 2009. In response to Adam Ryan. If we mandate passengers to go through metal detectors to get on a plane, why not implement them for school? It does cost money, but our government is concerned elsewhere with it's investments. A student with a gun on campus has any potential, regardless of their character. Sure they may save a live or several of them, but we all can't be heroes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The political line in the sand. How We Do It.

Texas Govt: My comment

http://simplenboring2.blogspot.com/2009/05/my-comment.html

Friday, May 15, 2009. In response to my classmate's blog. Also, increasing higher education schools wouldn't help the economy or provide better education. Like my classmate said, they would not be properly funded and wouldn't have the same quality as an established University. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My political views are Liberal. A penny isn't even worth a thought anymore.: 10%

http://texgov-cyn.blogspot.com/2009/03/10.html

A penny isn't even worth a thought anymore. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. If we increase the number of state colleges they'll just end up like our countless amounts of public schools, underfunded and unable to give people a decent education. Seriously, back when I was in public school we didn't have enough desks for everyone. Hell, we didn't even have up-to-date textbooks. Although oddly enough we had plenty of lockers. I'm not quite sure how that happened. May 15, 2009 at 9:43 PM. The Dallas Morning New.

Texas on the Rise: April 2009

http://texasontherise.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Texas on the Rise. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Guns on campus, Yes? So I'm reading this article about a Bill they want passed to allow guns on campus. Now everyone needs to take it easy. When we hear those two words, guns and campus together, everyone gets all in a frenzy. Now there is absolutely no freakin. Way the Texas government would allow just any old Joe or Jane going to college to carry a gun. Now come on, I hope there is more faith in our government then that. Sunday, April 19, 2009. Texas on the Rise: Border Security, What should we do??

http://texasontherise.blogspot.com/2009/04/border-security-what-should-we-do.html

Texas on the Rise. Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Border Security, What should we do? Our problem here is two countries closing their eyes while things like this happen. Why would Mexico stop it, all the money that's being sent back to their country from workers in the U.S. In 2006 there were 29 confirmed border incursions by Mexican government officials. In 2008 soldiers from the Mexican military crossed over into Arizona and held a border patrol agent at gun point. YES IN ARIZONA! Can you say act of WAR!
