Thursday Discussion →. Henry V week 2. April 26, 2011. This act also involves the scene with Henry and Williams as they argue about the King’s motives. Williams believes that Henry is just a soldier and would later realize that he was speaking to the King. Why does Shakespeare include this scene? However, I still do not understand why Shakespeare included the scene with the exchange of gloves or the confrontation by Captain Fluellen. Can anyone explain this to me?
