Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Elements of a Story and Estimation! So yesterday my class made their first estimation on the Halloween jar of candy that I brought to school! You can read the post about my Halloween estimation jars here. Would you believe that one of my students estimated the correct amount of Smarties in the jar? There were 53, and one of my sweet students estimated 53! I wish I could have recorded his reaction when I said there were 53 packs of Smarties in the jar! I absolutely love my job!

Back to School Fun. We've been doing lots of fun stuff since school has started back and I'd like to share a few of those fun things with you! First, Math can be a pain for some kids. DIY crafts, Cooking and Baking, Fashion, Things I love and More! Sunday, November 24, 2013. Made some fingerless gloves! DIY Shirt sleeve fingerless gloves. How to Make them. Spandex/Cotton materialed long sleeved shirt. Cut off the sleeves, then mark cut the sleeve to the appropriate size to fit your arm (Wrist to elbow). Sew seam inside out across the sleeve seam to make more fitting. Measure, then cut a small hole for your thumb. Use zig-zag stitch around hole to decrease fraying. 3 2 or 3 Meatballs.
