Virginia Loves Pollinators!: That Bee's A Runnin' Fool...

http://www.pollinatorplates.com/p/that-bees-runnin-fool.html

VDOT and Helping Pollinators! That Bee's A Runnin' Fool. Today was the day I ran a race in my bee costume! We hit the 200 mark earlier this month, but I was already scheduled to be on vacation the first 2 weekends in October. It was almost a little anti-climatic, being so close to Halloween. But a few people laughed, and some wanted pictures of me. I obliged. I'll upload some more pictures soon- it's late and I had a busy day with the race in the morning and an event out at Oatlands all afternoon! If I c...

Virginia Loves Pollinators!: Official Metal Proofs Are Approved!

http://www.pollinatorplates.com/2014/11/official-metal-proofs-are-approved.html

VDOT and Helping Pollinators! Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Official Metal Proofs Are Approved! I received the official metal proofs of the plate last week, which I will approve and send back to the DMV. It was so exciting to receive this in the mail and see it- for real! On metal, actual colors, everything. The colors look a little different than the original design- mainly the mountains. They're a little bolder and a little greener, and that's okay- it looks very environmental. WHAT WILL WE DO TIL THEN!

We Run Your Errands! Sunday, April 10, 2011. Top 7 Best Booths at Loudoun Earth Day 2011. Sunday I had a great time at the 3rd Annual Loudoun Earth Day Family Festival. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. 2011 in 2011 Update. As of today I'm up to 404 items. It's funny how I felt bad getting rid of her toys. like she has no say in the matter. I know I shouldn't feel bad, little kids give away their toys all the time when they are too big for them or just no longer have an interest in them. And I know my dear little kitty only needs a few. Toys, so why not just hang onto her favorites and get rid of the rest? Posted by Samantha G. Labels: 2011 in 2011. Thursday, March 17, 2011.

Monday, February 28, 2011. Recycled 2 very very old DirecTV receivers today! Electronics are becoming a HUGE source of waste! Most people have no idea what to do with their non-functioning old electronics. You can read more about "e-cycling" (electronics recycling) on the EPA's website here:. Http:/ www.epa.gov/osw/conserve/materials/ecycling/. Did you know it's very easy to find a place to recycle your old electronics? Some stores like Best Buy. You already KNOW about my Staples love. Samantha Gallagher's Art Studio blog: How-To-Tuesday: How to save your colored inks!

http://samanthasartstudio.blogspot.com/2011/03/how-to-tuesday-how-to-save-your-colored.html

Tuesday, March 15, 2011. How-To-Tuesday: How to save your colored inks! This is a pretty simple How-To-Tuesday, and I'm a little embarrassed to say I never figured all of this out until very VERY recently since I'm not one to play around much with the various print dialogs my computer offers. I typically look at paper size, paper type, borderless printing, and if I'm making an art print I make sure the quality is set to either "Best" or "Maximum DPI.". Here's are the other things I recently discovered!

VDOT and Helping Pollinators! Monday, February 22, 2016. VDOT Pollinator Habitat Program. It's been a while since I updated Ye Olde Bloge. because once the plates were available, there was not much to report. Beginning in July 2016, the Pollinator Plates will become Revenue-Sharing plates, contributing to pollinator habitats throughout the state! We will be supporting VDOT's new Pollinator Habitat Program! As luck would have it, just a couple of months after. This program will be a statewide. Create poll...
