MND is overpowering me! Plotting my downward spiral into obscurity! Monday, 1 October 2012. The North Wind doth blow . It’s cold. I hate it when autumn arrives. With its whistling winds and cloudy wet skies. My scrawny body with shivers is wracked. And upon it layers of clothes are stacked. If I have the temerity. To try to complete the smallest of tasks. Surely it’s not too much to ask? That I be allowed some comforting heat. While languishing in my wheelchair seat. Praying for summer sun.

Tuesday, 2 June 2015. Regaining a little independence. The system comprises a mechanical hand which is moved by tiny servos. This was manufactured by Patrick using his 3D printer. Then there's a processing unit, again constructed and programmed by Patrick. The system connects to the eyegaze computer by USB. Finally a screen grid was made to allow eye selection. The system is still in its early stages of development but early tests are promising. The next video was made in the seafront carpark at my flat.

We drove to Hampton Court station where there are very conveniently placed disabled parking spaces, hopped on a train with the help of the train's guard and was at Waterloo 35 minutes later. Acho que é muito bom todos terem a oportunidade de aprender, pois é um mundo muito tecnológico e cada vez mais abrangindo.
