Sunday, September 23, 2012. We ran with our good friends Matt and Nicole. It was really fun to all run together and have some people to laugh with/at. It started with a 100-yard run carrying a sand bag. This actually was my least favorite part of the whole run because I couldn't figure out how to carry the dumb bag. Thursday, February 21, 2013. Bear with me while I try to finish up December. The kids always enjoy the annual Christmas party at the police department. Thursday, November 29, 2012. I deleted some pictures off Picasa to try to free up space on my blog and now all the pictures on my blog are gone. Friday, January 11, 2013. Our annual Misssion Inn trip to see the beautiful Christmas lights! We did this for Family Home Evening one night and on the drive there we taught the kids about the symbolism of the christmas lights. We taught them that Jesus Christ is the light of the world and so the lights are to remind us of Him. We love Christmas time and the many opportunities it gives us to teach our kids about the Savior. Doyle and Tricia Watts. Monday, December 9, 2013. Annie Brown Tricia Watts = Baking Pecan Pie at Bedtime. My cousin, Annie. And I made some Pecan Pie a few days ago because I had been wanting to have/try to make some and she was visiting from Cali. We used the recipe suggested by Lilian Wilson (aka: Grandma) and it worked out great! Pecan Pie is actually a LOT easier than I thought it would be, we did cheat a little and use Pillsbury pre-made pie crusts though. Thanks for cooking with me Annie.

Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Pinewood Derby and Wolf. Kyle earned his wolf! I love that he is self-motivated and always wants to do his best. We made these blue and gold cake pops for the blue and gold dinner wbere he was presented his wolf. Kyle has such a great group of boys his age in our ward. These 4 all earned their wolf together! Pinewood derby car- he called it his "xbox 360" car. Very focussed on the finish line. Kyle got 2nd place at the pinewood derby! Monday, March 25, 2013. Go With the Flow.
