In late 2001, after a summer spree of cranking out HLDM level after HLDM level, I was getting restless and looking for some other projects to work on. A. Map was tempting, as was the call of the more advanced. Community, until I spotted a new level texture back by Kevin “Relic25” Roberts. He was building the Alien-inspired level for a new. Mod – something called “. If you’re familiar with my past work, the rest is history. I went on to make ns eclipse. For NS v1.0, and ns veil. Ns2 veil by Shawn Snelling.

Survival of the Fittest. In my last post, I shared the long-overdue release of my old source files. From ns eclipse and ns veil. My biggest regret was not being able to provide more of a play-by-play commentary of how and why the map changed over the months of development. Unfortunately, even with a good memory, it’s very difficult to browse through dozens of 10 year old hacked up .rmf files and remember exact intent or even in some cases what the specific changes were. Who wants to be normal? Wednesday, March 13, 2013. More pinball project progress. So I set aside the Flash play field for later. I now have a High Speed play field that is complete (just worn out a bit) and a cabinet with back box for it. I have it all setup next to my Bad Cats. It has a P-ROC and a "System 11 Combo board" that I have all hooked up with the wiring harness and some custom power cables I made for my PSUs (since the cabinet came with no boards at all). http://rpef.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Who wants to be normal? Wednesday, November 3, 2010. First test run of R2-D2. We got the base frame setup with the Parallax 12v motor and wheel kit, HB-25s, a Propellor Proto board, and an R/C receiver. The legs are not very sturdy yet, so we could only run it very slowly (about 5-10% of max speed). Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). San Diego, California, United States.
