PolygonTrix Built-in Help Page
http://www.polygontrix.com/Help/TrixHelp.html
Welcome to PolygonTrix™. PolygonTrix is a Math Art Game, a digital arcade of angles and energy that lets you explore the space-time dynamics hidden inside polygons! To you, the display may LOOK like a pool ball game, but PolygonTrix IS NOT a shooting game — it's an amusing geometric puzzler with a particle physics twist. PolygonTrix can be played solo, or by parent and child, or by any two players who agree to share particles. The polygon warm-up round proceeds until the particle magazine is empty. So de...

John Miller's Resumé
http://www.dialectrix.com/resume.html
To create meaningful educational apps, and in general, to help make the world a more sensible place. I've taught and worked at two private colleges, at Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood, for the Portland City Engineer, and for Metro, a local area government. I've managed services, servers, and networks for college and a regional government - including web, email, firewall, and file servers. I've taught over a thousand college students, over a thousand classroom hours, while holding liberal office hours.

I first corresponded with Martin Gardner in 1968 about Langford's Problem (below). I attended G4G10 (my first Gathering for Gardner. Conference), where I presented a some interesting facts about. And met some very interesting people who have MG interests in common. My son Gus and I attended G4G11 in 2014. I presented a 15-minute update on Langford's Problem and a 6 minute demonstration of PolygonJazz (below). What Shape is a Tree? This short talk is based on some of the 150. What Shape is a Tree? Is a fr...

Pyramid Design

Architecture, Art, Form and Power. I'm interested in the pyramid as a modern architectural form, and more generally as a deeply rooted archetype. I hope this project will convince you of its universal appeal. The Pyramid Design web project poorly represents a prospectus for a book:. PYRAMID DESIGN: Architecture, Art, Form, and Power. Explore the pyramid theme in paintings and sculptural works. Look at pyramid-based designs for stoves, awards, appliances — generalize. Conduct a skeptical inquiry into.

Gallery of Trix Fluxes
http://www.polygontrix.com/gallery.html
A flux is a 512-deflection geometric extension of a particle's World Line at the time a target is converted to a black hole. Nearly 500 fluxes will appear during the course of a game — more if polygons are reset and replayed. Fluxes aren't pre-computed. No two players will have quite the same experience. Fluxes vary in form from one polygon to another. Note: Our iPad app PolygonFlux. Aids the exploration and collection of fluxagons with tens to thousands of graphically themed lines.
