Boy Mommy: Do Me a Solid.
http://boymommynyc.blogspot.com/2013/10/do-me-solid.html
Just trying to keep my head out of the oven. . . Monday, October 28, 2013. Do Me a Solid. Mommy is tired . . . Of being the only one who cleans up the dog poop on the family room floor. I know you see it. Don't pretend you don’t. With 3 kids, I've spent the last 10 years being the primary poop-cleaner-upper. Help a sister out, man up, and pick up the poop! Of finding snack wrappers in the family room, in the couch, on the buffet, on the side table. Walk your @ss to the trashcan. Yes Gonna land me in jail?

Just trying to keep my head out of the oven. . . Sunday, February 22, 2015. Scenes From a Happy Marriage. Setting: master bath on a cold, snowy, winter Saturday morn. From shower, holding shower drain filled with long, luxurious brown[ish] hair and soap scum residue. Standing in front of mirror, brushing my long, luxurious, brown[ish] hair. Ew No That's gross. Why do I have to do it? Um, because it's dis gusting. Its gross. Why is it so gross? Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Our Nightly Ritual: The Fight.

Boy Mommy: What's Been on My Mind . . .
http://boymommynyc.blogspot.com/2015/04/whats-been-on-my-mind.html
Just trying to keep my head out of the oven. . . Friday, April 17, 2015. What's Been on My Mind . . . The stripes on my bedspread should be horizontal instead of vertical. I need them to go up and down. When they are horizontal, I lie in bed and think about the fact that they’re not vertical. Think, think, think. I need them to be up and down so the tag is on the bottom right. I can’t stand it when people use their cell phones in public restrooms. I’m answering nature’s call. I find them everywhere.

Just trying to keep my head out of the oven. . . Friday, April 24, 2015. They're all Innocent. Until They're Not. The other night at Medium’s Little League game, another mom commented that Small was playing nicely with the other kids. Several of Medium’s teammates have younger siblings, so they often play together during the game. They play tag, hide-and-seek, cars, etc., and occasionally they check in to see if they can buy a treat at the concession stand. I should have known right then. Oh, hayl no.

Boy Mommy: Wrong Number
http://boymommynyc.blogspot.com/2015/04/wrong-number.html
Just trying to keep my head out of the oven. . . Sunday, April 26, 2015. Yesterday morning, the phone rang. Normally I don't answer if it’s not a number I recognize. I figure the phone is here for my convenience, not theirs, so yes, I’m totes. It was not a number I recognized, but it looked like it might be a cell phone in our area code, so I answered. 8221; I answered, all delightful and cheery, as usual. 8220;Yes, I’m looking for an estate sale.”. Besides that, even if I were, no one ever buys my crap.

Small finished up preschool last week, which means the summer is fast approaching and the boys will be with me all the time. I will no longer have that brief block of time in which to run tedious errands by myself. You know what makes them even tediouser. Taking everyone with me. Even yesterday, I had to purchase TWO separate kinds of vitamins. Get a bikini wax. And positio...
