She and her parents moved here from the D.C. area, where Emma attended a Jewish Day School. Although she has only been here a few days, she has adapted beautifully to her new school. Welcome, Emma! Friday, February 24, 2006. Today a Great Horned Owl was found caught in the soccer netting on the athletic field. Teachers Pook Bellini and Adam Zweiback, with the help of Carlos Mena, were able to free the magnificent bird from the netting. After allowing the owl some quiet down time, parent Kathy Edwards took the owl back to the field for release. Here are two links that you might enjoy checking out.
