Culinary Adventures of a Poor Student

Culinary Adventures of a Poor Student. The triumphs and mishaps of a life of baking. To anyone who is still reading this, I am surprised and glad! Unfortunately things have been rather busy and I guess that I've felt that I don't connect as well with the look and feel of this blog anymore. I've decided to start a new blog so here's the link to a fresh start, The Chocoholic Baker! Thanks for everything to whoever's reading this, and I hope to see you at my new blog sometime soon. 2 1/2 cups plain flour.

Culinary Adventures of a Poor Student: September 2012

http://www.poorstudentbaking.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Culinary Adventures of a Poor Student. The triumphs and mishaps of a life of baking. On Thursday, my parents went away so Alex and I thought that we would have Becca and Ashleigh over for dinner. Dinner was easy, going to be wraps but I thought I'd be nice and make a dessert too. I saw this cheesecake on Love and Olive Oil. But Becca doesn't like cheesecake and Ashleigh doesn't like bananas, so they were both out of luck there! Banana Split Mini Cheesecakes (Makes 12). 3/4 cup digestive biscuit crumbs.

Culinary Adventures of a Poor Student. The triumphs and mishaps of a life of baking. A Very Difficult Biscuit. The second time, I decided to go down a citrus path, a bit odd ae? So I actually tinted the shell dough two different colours because I was going to do two different flavours of filling, but I couldn't really be bothered in the end! Instead. I tweaked them a little by adding milk and white chocolate to them so that they were quadruple chocolate! I took those ones into work. :) I would recomm...

Culinary Adventures of a Poor Student: Chocolate-gasm

http://www.poorstudentbaking.blogspot.com/2013/02/chocolate-gasm.html

Culinary Adventures of a Poor Student. The triumphs and mishaps of a life of baking. I know, I know, inappropriate name much? But that's seriously the best way to describe these cupcakes. They are soooo good! I actually wasn't going to make them last week, I was too tired, too lazy etc etc. But I really wanted to eat some, so I thought I really did have to make some. I also thought my new flatmates might appreciate some and I was right, they went down a treat! 115g butter, softened and cut into cubes.

Culinary Adventures of a Poor Student. The triumphs and mishaps of a life of baking. Courtney's Love Affair With A Cookie. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post again! I have actually still been baking, I've just been repeating some things, working on a big project and have been in general really busy! So I'm not sure if I've mentioned before about my new flat, but it's really awesome! But I modified the recipe to match my peanut butter addiction. :). Peanut Butter Chocolate Overload Cookies.

Culinary Adventures of a Poor Student: A Leaving Cake that Wasn't for Me!

http://www.poorstudentbaking.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-leaving-cake-that-wasnt-for-me.html

Culinary Adventures of a Poor Student. The triumphs and mishaps of a life of baking. A Leaving Cake that Wasn't for Me! I've had quite a few leaving cakes recently, but this time it wasn't for me! One of the women from my work left on Friday to take on a new marketing role, and whilst she wasn't the first to leave in the three and a half months I've been there, she was the closest to my age and we had some good times even in such a short stint! And based my cake on this recipe from Brown Eyed Baker.

Activities for College Students. Find some cheap and fun activities here! April 29, 2014. As the school semester is quickly coming to an end, that means that the class I had to make this blog for also has very little time left. Since we have to for our final grade, I am going to share what I have learned by doing this project. I can just look back at my own blog and use it as a resource. I have found blogging to be a great thing and I look forward to finding more low-cost projects. To share on here!
