John has FINALLY mastered the art of pedaling a bike.so every day we take the kids around the block with their bikes and stop for a little while so the kids can play at the playground. Now we just have to get Isabelle to pedal and we will be GOLDEN! No More High Chair! The high chair has been officially retired in the Maier house! Sunday, July 25, 2010. When we visited the Milwaukee County Zoo, one of the main attractions for John was the Adventure Dinosaurs attraction. Monday, May 24, 2010. The other day I was walking around the kitchen when I noticed this dinosaur perfectly placed guarding the downstairs door. It made me laugh because I know it was put there by own of our toddlers.and it looked like it was doing a perfect job guarding the door to make sure no monsters made it upstairs! When I asked John who put the dinosaur there he blamed it on Isabelle (of course! This weekend we found a new bed for John at a rummage sale for $20 (frame, box spring, and mattress!

Tuesday, July 5, 2011. The picnic provided us and the kids with lots of food and fun games. Isabelle was able to participate in the candy dash (for kids 3 and under). Someone threw candy all over the ground and the little ones just ran around and picked up as much as they possibly could. Isabelle scored a nice pile of candy! John particpated in the sack race (3rd place), the 3 legged race (1st place) and him and I took the wheelbarrel race by a landslide! We even got a photo opt with Uncle Sam himself!

Tuesday, July 5, 2011. I was pretty excited to actually be able to capture some of the fireworks with my camera. So here are just a few! John and Isabelle were entertained for about 5 minutes and then lost interest. But I was able to regain their interest by playing the color game where everyone guesses the color of the next firework before it explodes in the sky. Sunday, June 27, 2010. I am now obsessed with hats for Isabelle! I like bright colored hats with bright colored flowers on them. I think she looks absolutely adorable.and she lets me doll her up whenever I get the chance. She is so in trouble! Saturday, August 28, 2010. Here are just a few pictures of the kids during our trip to Tennessee a few weeks ago. It is safe to say that the children, along with the adults, had a very fun time! Sunday, January 9, 2011. She was a trooper and I think her new do is super cute. Out baby has been replaced by a little lady! Saturday, January 1, 2011. And so it begins. Mike said it was the cutest thing he has ever seen! As soon as we got home I showed Izzie her new slippers and she immediately ran for her tutu and has since been running around the house with her slippers on and her Dora dance bag in tow. She even wore them when she took her nap! Now I just have to get that darn hair of her's in a bun!
