Friday, July 17, 2009. Tuesday was my birthday so I'm using my birthday money to buy new makeup. Good makeup. On Sunday my wedding will be exactly 5 months away. I've been engaged already for 5 months and I'm getting married in another 5. These past few 5 months have flown by which means it will be here before I know it! Well, I'm done blogging for today. Wednesday, August 5, 2009. The new book I'm reading is down right interesting. It's called The Red Tent and the storyline takes place in the biblical days of the Old Testament. Although this book is entirely fiction it is definately based on true characters of the bible. Now, if that doesn't spark your interest allow me to continue my persuasion. Sunday, April 26, 2009. This past weekend we celebrated my lifelong best friend, Meg's bachelorette party in San Antonio! We flew from Lubbock on Friday and arrived to SA in the late afternoon. We took Meg to Victoria's Secret where we each picked out a piece of lingerie that we liked for her. Her future mother in law left us a gift card to use at the front desk! Friday, January 30, 2009. Papertowels and coffee filters. For all you avid coffee drinkers out there, if you ever find yourself in the situation I was in just the other day, here is a remedy for coffee filters. I always prepare my coffee the night before so that I can set it on auto and it brews every weekday morning at 6:30. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Now that the TAKS test is over we can do reading lessons that are a little bit advanced for 3rd grade. I've decided to do a unit on Charlotte's Web. It's a book that is read mostly in 4th grade but since they aren't teaching it this year they lent me the copies to use.
